FRH18124 is a combination of the MTH124 top and the PH18 subwoofer in one product, quite compact for its capabilities.
The speaker is designed for applications where maximum sound pressure needs to be created over a large area by a point sound source with minimal dimensions, so there isn't a single cubic centimeter of wasted space inside. Despite its significant size, the full-range horn top FRH18124 can replace a stack of line array with subwoofers of twice the volume.
These speakers will be useful as front-fills on large stages, in distributed outdoor systems, in sports facilities, as well as in venues where flying installations cannot obstruct the stage — in short, everywhere where maximum performance and compactness are required without compromising sound quality.
FRH18124 uses modern, lightweight neodymium drivers housed in a ventilated rear chamber. The 12" driver has two voice coils in independent magnetic gaps and is equipped with a double silicone spider, reducing distortion levels at high power. The large driver with a 4" voice coil creates maximum sound pressure for a single HF emitter and can handle significant power thanks to its size and good heat dissipation.
The LF and MF-HF band division is implemented in bi-amp mode, while the MF and HF division is passive.
A dust and moisture protected version FRH18124-54 with any RAL or NCS color scheme is available for order.
