2xMTH154-CXP + 2xMBH15 + 4xPH21 — this is a large-format horn system designed for large club installations covering 400-500 square meters, or for outdoor venues for 300-400 people. This system uses highly efficient horn subwoofers with 21" drivers, capable of satisfying the demands of the most discerning bass enthusiasts. The balance is shifted towards high sound pressure levels, portability, and medium throw distance.
When designing this system, we considered the experience of generations in creating horn systems for music listening and dancing. There are many paths to such sound, but they all involve dedicated midbass and compression drivers with large diaphragms. This idea guided the design of the combination of our flagship horn top MTH154-CXP and the classic midbass based on a long narrow-throat horn MBH15.
Large horns, powerful drivers of maximum caliber for their ranges, optimal crossover frequencies of 65Hz, 125Hz, and 700Hz for good directivity control and LF range articulation — these are the universal values of horn audio for dancing. Combined with modern calculation technologies, materials, and top-tier drivers, all this results in a highly efficient system of uncompromising quality with enormous scaling potential — up to 6 tops per side. MTH154-CXP and MBH15 can be equipped with flying hardware with adjustable angles for cluster assembly.
It's no exaggeration to say that the most work has been done on this line, primarily due to its significant energy potential and wide frequency band overlap. We didn't constrain the sound, giving each driver the optimal volume and technological complexity of the enclosure for its task, resulting in a wide field of possibilities for experimentation and potential for modifications that we're still exploring.
Managing audio from this line isn't that simple, but the results are worth it.
