CD9030 is a high-frequency horn for DIY sound system construction. Its profile is based on a tractrix curve, approximated to achieve stable directivity of 90x30 degrees. It is made from lightweight fiberglass composite and weighs only 1.1kg.
The horn is well balanced between efficiency and compactness, allowing it to be crossed over with a 3" driver at 800-900Hz, which in most cases is sufficient for good directivity control.
CD9030 and MH12 were created as a unified set, and when assembled they form a complete horn top enclosure — all that's left is your creativity in selecting drivers and signal processing.
Additionally, it is suitable for any 215/115 and 212/112 tops where a driver with a 2" exit needs to be used.
